Virginia Classroom Technologies

The Virginia Classroom Technologies group was formed in March 2010 through the Association of Collegiate Computing Services (ACCS). The main purpose of our group is to allow higher educational institutes in Virginia to collaborate and share experiences about current classroom technologies. Our meetings are held three times a year, during ACCS as well in July and October. Our next meeting will be held on October 30, 2012 at Virginia Western Community College in Roanoke, Virginia. Normally the meetings are a one-day event. Every gathering, we invite a manufacture to come and sponsor the meeting. Everyone will be able to join all different types of discussions throughout the day.

We would love to have participation from every higher education institution in Virginia. This would be a great opportunity for your group to collaborate about technologies and share ideas with others that will be present. The Virginia Classroom Technologies group currently includes:

  • Blue Ridge Community College
  • College of William and Mary
  • George Mason University
  • Eastern Mennonite University
  • James Madison University
  • Northern Virginia Community College
  • Old Dominion University
  • Piedmont Virginia Community College
  • Roanoke College
  • University of Virginia
  • Virginia Tech
  • Virginia Western Community College
  • Tidewater Community College
  • The University of Mary Washington

We hope that many more will join us!
